As ~ as it may/might/can/could (be) 표현 이해하기 : 최대치 비교

⇒ It(그것)이 ~의 상태(형용사)를 기준으로, 현재 vs. 될 수 있는 (may be) 최대치 비교

 

 

Example 1) I am as tall as you (are) (tall). 나는 너(가) (키 큰)만큼 키 크다.

Example 2) Study as hard as you can (study). 너가 (공부하는 게) 가능한 만큼 열심히 / 공부해라.

Example 3) Respond as soon as possible. 가능한 만큼 일찍 / 응답해라.

 

Example 4) 될 수 있는 만큼 누추하더라도 (=아무리 엄청 누추하더라도), 집 같은 곳은 없다.
